Birmingham and 2010!

Kevin and I had the chance to fly with Michael to Birmingham, Alabama, where we celebrated my Grandma's 80th birthday with all of my Hall side of the family. It was really great seeing my cousins, aunts and uncles! I especially loved those stolen moments where my grandmother was looking at her 3 children or looking around the table at her kids, grandkids and greatgrandkids, and I thought to myself, "This is what it's all about."

Here is my grandmother meeting Michael for the first time!

Michael is still figuring out how to match his facial expressions to his enthusiasm level :)

4 generations all together... I loved it.

Joan was holding Michael - what a natural!

Hall also got his chance - it was so much fun seeing the Cartledges!

We loved seeing the Halls too, who came up from Houston.

Michael was excited to see Doc again too, fresh off of the plane from San Antonio! Check out them boots too.

What a cutie... he's doing this motion often now since he is noticing his hands - it's almost like I can imagine him saying "Put 'em there... put 'em there..."
