We had a great Thanksgiving week in Annapolis. The weekend before, we were able to see Aunt Courtney Peterson complete a 50
MILE race in Maryland - way to go, Aunt Courtney!
On Thanksgiving Day, we were with the Grays, and the girls and boys split up and Susan/Nana, Aunt Kristen, Aunt Emily and I headed over to a Turkey Trot to start the day. It was a pretty cool and rainy day, but we had a great time walking and talking together - and earning our Thanksgiving indulgence.
Kevin went off to join his high school friends for their annual Turkey Bowl. I don't know where he got his nickname, but I do find it ironic that he is one of the only (if not the only) of these guys to have a child.
The ironic nickname.
Rick/Grandpa brought Michael to cheer on Kevin's team! Michael was a hit.
And here is the little guy himself in a sweet sweater vest - I love the preppiness.
Finally, here are a couple pictures of Michael greeting the day - and everyone in our parking lot. If I crack open the sliding door that leads to our deck, he will stand post and squawk at anyone walking by (syllables like "BA" and "DA" over and over again). It's pretty hilarious.
