My good friend Michele came up from Houston to visit for the weekend last weekend - and it always is so surreal to me how much time can pass and how much fun we always have together! I really appreciated the quality time with one another - the snow on Saturday helped out too - it made us "slow down" and just be together. I am so grateful for friendships that last more than a "season" - and Michele is one of those :)
Here are some pictures from Michele's visit!
Our first night, we went to Cantler's for some good-ole Annapolitan crabs - it was fun to learn how to eat them properly from Kevin (this is probably lesson #5 for me personally, ha) - and Michael was a good sport the whole time.
On Saturday, there was a blizzard outside - but we were determined to eat at the Main Ingredient, so we employed our Volvo's snowtires and drove across Annapolis for yummy sandwiches and a fun memory.
Shell-bell was thrilled to be there :)
That night we headed down to the Boatyard for some drinks and to hang out with some of Kevin's friends - Michele wanted to capture this since we brought our baby to a bar. ("You brought your baby? To a BAR?" - Sweet Home Alabama)
I think Kevin said something ridiculous while photographing this...
I also discovered a cheap and easy toy for Michael to play with when I was moving this plastic bag around...
